OVERVIEW

Klaviyo is the email and SMS marketing platform that ecommerce brands and their agencies run on every account. Agentcy connects to your Klaviyo account with a read-only Private API Key (BYOK) so you can ask plain-language questions about campaign and flow performance, attributed revenue, list and segment growth, and metric trends, right inside Claude, ChatGPT, or your preferred AI client, instead of clicking through the Klaviyo dashboard.

This integration is read-only by design. Agentcy never sends a campaign, edits a flow, or changes a profile, list, or segment. Ask "which flow drives the most revenue" and Agentcy resolves the conversion metric, pulls the flow performance report, and reads back one synthesized answer (the top flows by attributed revenue and their engagement rates) instead of a wall of raw rows. It goes deep too: campaign and flow reports, metric time-series like placed orders or revenue over time, list and segment membership, profile lookups, recent events, and your product catalog.

Pairs especially well with WooCommerce or Shopify and Google Ads to close the ecommerce loop: which campaign drove the traffic, and which flow turned it into revenue.

SETUP

    Sign in to Klaviyo

    Go to Settings, open Account, then API Keys

  3. 03

    Create a Private API Key with read-only access (or read scopes for campaigns, flows, metrics, events, lists, segments, profiles, catalogs, and templates)

    In the Agentcy portal, go to Services and enable Klaviyo for your account

    Toggle on the domain you want to connect, or click Enable for all domains if you want it active everywhere

    Click Set up on that domain to open the configuration

    Paste your Private API Key and click Test Connection to verify access

Read-only by policy. Agentcy never sends a campaign, edits a flow, or changes a profile, list, or segment. Use Klaviyo directly for any changes. We recommend creating the key with read-only access.

API access is free with any Klaviyo account, including the free tier, so there is no paid-plan requirement to connect.

Klaviyo metric ids are unique per account, so for revenue and trend questions Agentcy first looks up your metrics (usually Placed Order or Ordered Product) and then runs the report — multi-step work the agent handles for you.

Listing campaigns always needs a channel, so Agentcy defaults to email and switches to SMS when you ask about SMS.

Profiles include personal data (email, name, location). Agentcy reads it to answer your question and does not store full profile exports.
