Integrations/Notion Custom Agents

Set up Notion Custom Agents

Notion’s Custom Agents (100M+ users) — schedule autonomous AI workers that pull live marketing data from Agentcy. Requires Business or Enterprise plan plus workspace admin enablement.

SETUP
10 STEPS
  1. 01

Sign up at app.goagentcy.com and create an API key

  2. 02

PREREQUISITE: a workspace admin must enable Settings → Notion AI → AI connectors → Enable Custom MCP servers (per-workspace toggle, separate from Custom Agents themselves)

  3. 03

Open your Custom Agent’s Settings (Custom Agents are on Business/Enterprise plans)

  4. 04

Scroll to MCP connections in the Settings panel

  5. 05

Click Add connection → Custom MCP server

  6. 06

    Enter MCP Server URL: https://data.goagentcy.com/mcp

  7. 07

Authentication: select OAuth — Agentcy supports Dynamic Client Registration so no Client ID/Secret needed

  8. 08

Sign in and authorize when prompted (you’re authenticating with the credentials of whoever sets this up — see notes)

  9. 09

Toggle on the Agentcy tools you want the agent to use (you can require confirmation per call or run automatically)

  10. 10

Save the Custom Agent — it now has access to Agentcy data on every scheduled or triggered run

TIPS

Custom Agents are on Business and Enterprise plans only — Free and Plus tiers can’t use them. Custom MCP connections require an additional workspace admin enablement: Settings → Notion AI → AI connectors → Enable Custom MCP servers (per-workspace toggle, separate from the Custom Agent itself). EACH MCP connection is unique to a single Custom Agent and uses the credentials of whoever authenticated it — connections are NOT shared across agents. Agentcy supports OAuth via Dynamic Client Registration, so the OAuth flow works with no manual Client ID/Secret config. Tools can be toggled on/off per connection and you can require confirmation before each tool runs (good for sensitive operations) or run them automatically. Notion 3.3 (February 24, 2026) shipped Custom Agents with MCP support.
