Moz

Domain Authority, Page Authority, Spam Score, backlink analysis, linking domains, anchor text, keyword difficulty, and link gap analysis from Moz.

OVERVIEW

Moz is the industry standard for domain authority metrics. When clients ask "what's my DA?" — they're asking about Moz. Agentcy connects to the Moz API to give you natural-language access to Domain Authority, Page Authority, Spam Score, backlink profiles, linking domain analysis, anchor text distribution, keyword difficulty, and competitive link gap analysis.

Ask about any domain's authority metrics, compare competitors side by side, find link building opportunities (domains linking to competitors but not you), track DA trends over time, or research keyword difficulty. Agentcy decomposes your question into the right API calls across 21 operations and synthesizes the results into actionable SEO insights.

Moz is a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) service configured at the account level — one API token works across all your domains. The free tier includes 50 rows per month for testing. Paid plans start at $20/month for 3,000 rows, which supports hundreds of Agentcy queries.

TIPS
7

The free tier only includes 50 rows per month — a single site_metrics call costs 1 row, but linking domains costs 1 row per result (25 results = 25 rows). Budget queries carefully on free tier.

Keyword endpoints (difficulty, volume, suggestions, intent) require a $20/month or higher plan — they return quota errors on the free tier

Link intersect uses a 5x row multiplier — 25 results costs 125 rows. Use sparingly on lower-tier plans.

Link status uses a 2x row multiplier per source checked

Moz uses two APIs internally: V3 JSON-RPC for site metrics and keywords, V2 REST for link operations. Both use the same API token and share the same row quota.

DA is a relative metric — it can fluctuate when Moz recalculates, even if your site hasn't changed. Track trends, not single snapshots.

All operations are read-only — Agentcy never modifies anything in your Moz account
