AI Readiness

How visible your site is to AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, scored 0 to 100.

OVERVIEW

AI search is becoming a real discovery channel, and the rules are not the same as classic SEO. AI Readiness audits a domain across five categories (crawlability, discoverability, extractability, entity recognition, and citation outcomes) and returns a single 0 to 100 score with a per-finding breakdown of what is helping and what is holding the site back.

It goes past a technical checklist. Agentcy checks whether AI crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot can actually reach and render the site, whether structured data and llms.txt make the content easy to parse, and whether the brand has the entity footprint (Wikidata, Wikipedia, consistent sameAs links) that LLMs rely on. It then tests live whether AI engines cite the brand for real buyer-intent questions.

This is a zero-config service. No API key or domain setup is required, so you can run a report on any domain (yours or a prospect's) and get an actionable picture of where AI visibility is being won or lost.

DATA FRESHNESS

7-day cache per domain. AI crawler rules and citation results change slowly, so a weekly refresh keeps reports current while keeping audits cheap.

TIPS

5

Citation checks query live AI search results, so outcomes can shift as those engines update their indexes

Entity recognition leans on third-party sources like Wikidata and Wikipedia, so brands with little public footprint may score low even with a clean site

Crawlability reflects the current robots.txt and bot rules at query time, so recent changes may take a refresh cycle to show

A new or recently launched domain can score low simply because AI engines have not indexed it yet

The score is a directional readiness signal, not a guarantee of AI ranking
